Traces of irritation part un

You can drink as much alcohol as you wish to. Pour down a bottle of wine in 5 minutes with your "girlies" when you're getting ready. Shot like you never seen a bottle of fizzy "Apple sour" before. Get uncharmingly drunk, send drunken sleezy text messages to your entire friend list. Wee like a madman in your neighbourhood's nicely trimmed bushes, and vomit in the back of the night bus.
But please spare me for your drunken antics on Le Facebook every bloody Sunday afternoon. Statuses like "Oh God, I am so hungover it's insane", "Can someone please fill in the blank for me last night?", "I will never ever drink again" etc. are so annoyingly unnecessary. I might sound like a bitter 40 year old, but it's not sensational to get drunk, neither to wake up with a painful headache the glorious morning after.

Music Festival Galore.

This years Leeds/Reading lineup is as last years lineup also was; immense.
It went from being quite dull and unimpressive when the lineup first was announced in March, but after adding a douzin of good bands a month ago,I completely changed my mind about selling the ticket.

Some of my biggest highlights this year are.....:

Pop princess La Roux. It seems to me like people either love her or hate her. Her album isnt brilliant, but her biggest hits "In for the Kill", Bulletproof" and "Quicksand" is catchy pop at its best. ugh, this sounded like a shitty record-review...anywho,next up is......

Prodigy! They terrified me with their dark and neurotical music videoes when I grew up in the 90s.I watched with disbelief, and hadnt seen anything more eccentric in my entire life. But I absolutely adore them now. Old fashioned screamy rave, nothing less nothing more.

Bloc Party. Pure quality. When I see my favourite bands live I always get into this ephoric state of happiness, where I dance and jump like a blissful teenager on crack.combine this with loud irritating singing/screaming, and you have me in a nutshell on a gig.

Metronomy.A delightful combo of synth-pop and high pitched voices.

The Horrors.Retro "dark" rock. Most famous for their anorectic legs, black clothing and obscure hair does. Some of their songs needs to grow on me though.

Golden Silvers

Friendly Fires

...and I need to see KOL,mainly because of their brilliant song "Charmer"(anything but "sex on fire"), and partly because they're so fucking talked-about that I am obliged to get a tiny glimpse of them American boyzzzz even though I'm not a massive fan.

Bloc Party

Bloc Party's newest single "One More Chance" is very different from their earlier tracks. A catchy, summerly, synth-pop track, which gives me some odd Haddaway/early 90s associations. Quite random video, but I like it.

Also, just watched a brief interview with Kele (the leadsinger), and I had no idea he was such a shy creature. Very charming though.
He nervously stuttered himself through the whole interview, and looked uncomfortable and mellow.I cant blame him though, I would probably have been exactly like him if I was put in front of a camera. I would have just tried to get my words out as correctly, sane and understandable as possible.
